“To make a mark you must make a move”Prince Jesuspiritia
Be A Care Giver
“pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this , to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.”James 1: 27
The Reason : Our world today is of great multitude of billions of people, filled with selfishness and self-centered attitude. Our sense of natural affection is lost. We’re daily preoccupied with our need without considering the need of others. The state of the church today is similar to what Apostle Paul described in Philippians 2: 20-21; for I have no man like minded who naturally care for your state. for all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ. The world is in dear need of people that are selfless, who will naturally care for the need of others not people that set-up NGO or ministry for money or fame.
The Requirement : To make a difference you must be different. Making a difference is my motivating factor. I don’t want to join the train of murmurers, excuse givers, and complainers. When men around me says there’s a cast down, my declaration is: there is a lifting up. I see hope in every hopeless situation . I can, I will, I must is my motto because, greater is He that is in me more than he that is in the world. My God is bigger than any situation, needs or challenges.
So, to make a difference, you must possess these christian’s virtues.
- You must be born again – It means having a genuine and personal experience of salvation that comes through repentance, forgiveness, forsaking of sins, and personal faith in Christ sacrifice on the cross.
- You must be a man/woman of purpose. someone who doesn’t measure his/her success, achievement, and quality of life by money but through values and impacts made on others. someone who derives joy, happiness and fulfilment when others are fulfilled.
Your Resources : “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus” Philippians 4: 19. When I started Bethesda mission, One of the major challenges I faced was trying to convince people to believe in the mission. Their concern has always been; how will this poor boy finance this great project? But my response is, my God will supply all my need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. I do not put my trust in myself or my money nor the people or economy of the world. My trust and confidence is in God, because God is committed to what he has commissioned.
Your Reward : “Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? Or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? Or naked, and clothed thee. Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” Matthew 25:34-40
